Jubiläum und Ausstellung!

1991-2016: 25 Jahre Tolle Hefte

2016 werden die Tollen Hefte 25 Jahre alt. Auch darum wird es in Bologna einegroße Ausstellung zu den Tollen Heften geben. Anlässlich der Kinderbuchmesse in Bologna ( 4. -7. April 2016),

auf der Deutschland Gastland ist, zeigt das Goethe-Institut Rom in Zusammenarbeit mit Hamelin, einer italienischen Kulturstiftung, die Geschichte der Tollen Hefte, ihre Künstler und Autoren, ihre Besonderheiten

und viele Blicke hinter die Kulissen.

25th anniversary and exhibition of the series „Die Tollen Hefte“

Founded in 1991 by Armin Abmeier, the series of the Tolle Hefte arrived at Nr. 45.

This booklet, appearing in march 2016, is just in printing and is designed, invented, written and illustrated by Nadia Budde, an artist from Berlin, well known from her lovely-nasty picture-books. She was on Armins list of artists since a long time, but only now she did a great artwork about couples in the broadest sense.

As Germany will be hostcountry at Bologna's bookfair this year, an exhibition of „Die Tollen Hefte“

is just in preparation, curated by Hamelin association in Bologna and organized together with the

German Goethe-Institut Rom.

The opening of the exhibition will be on sunday, 3rd april at 19:30 

Palazzo d'Accursio, Sala d’Ercole, Piazza Maggiore.

Die meisten Illustratoren der Hefte haben sich auch intensiv mit dem Medium Bilderbuch beschäftigt

und so liest sich die Liste der Künstler nicht nur ein wenig wie ein who-is-who der Illustratorenszene, sondern auch

der internationalen Bilderbuchwelt:

can be read not only as a who-is-who of best illustrators, but also as a list of best children's-books-artists:
